Glenda - Tonight we celebrate this special occasion for a special person.  She has provided support over and above her vocation. She has used her resources to tell others about what we are doing.  A great supporter for conference organising.  Treasurer.  Sheryl Ertel is being awarded a Paul Harris Fellow.  Well done Sheryl.

Guest Speaker
Lachie introduces Te Amorangi Wharawhara from the Matamata College Kapa haka group with Faith, Maisey and Alex.  Te Amorangi presented her Whakapapa and Pepeha.  Her father told her to never to speak from the paper, speak from the heart.  Grew up in Waharoa.  Born into Kapa haka.  Is known as the Kapa haka kid.  Proud to be Maori and being able to express what she is feeling through haka (song).  Kapa haka is hard physically and mentally.  We love our culture presented through Kapa haka Te Reo Maori.  Te Amorangi mentioned that she discusses the same things as in the Rotary 6 areas of focus.
