Super-Sub Sergeant David H started tonight's proceedings with an amusing look into Magic. Where can you find it?
This week NZ's own Lulu Sun created some magic at Wimbledon. However, you can find magic in: netball team, basketball player, pet care range, Walt Disney theme park, you can even get a Diploma in Magic at Massey Uni! But most important you can find it in Rotary... awesome theme for 2024/25. A different form of magic was having former exchange student - Winsome Geldart from South Africa- back visiting some of the families she had stayed with. It must have a long time ago...she went to Matamata College with our very own Jane... who ironically will be host mum to our incoming student, arriving Sunday 21st July.
President Presents...
Wade welcomed us, and then reminded that we would not have meetings for the next 2 weeks, with it being a 5-Tuesday month and needing to move the AGM Part 2 to the last week so our financials would be ready. However, we would be running a stall at the Mid-Winter in the Green on Friday 19th 4pm - 6pm, helpers required.
