Tree-Mendous news from Robert Stuart.

Happy New Year.

Just a short note to let you know how the Christmas Tree sales went.

Another successful sale of Christmas Trees.

We sold 204 trees and only had 2 which didn’t sell.

Thanks to all Rotarians who helped make this possible, from the purchasing and collection of the trees to the selling and distribution.

Thanks to Leslie Stanley for allowing us to store trees in her driveway in the shade, Four Seasons Garden Centre, Kaimai Garden Centre, Pippins, Mitre 10 for selling and providing a venue for selling trees, and not forgetting all who purchased trees and the very generous people who made donations.

Well done everyone, great effort.

Foodbank Appeal 2018

Thanks to all who donated to the foodbank prior to Christmas 2018.

Final figures were:

Cash and supermarket cards $1700

Food and gifts $500

Total $2200

This equates to $41.50 per member.

BYO Cutlery/Plates/Glasses as well as your tipple of choice
If possible bring a chair, although there are some available
Meal provided
Check your emails if inclement weather – we will make a call on the day
