Last time we met at the Club was August 10, this feels so long ago, tonight we had a good turnout.
Heading down South last week was Robert and Pauline, but unfortunately they were at a 'location of interest' so had to self isolate and could not attend tonight, PP Kevin stood in for him. He then asked for indications of interest in attending a Cambridge club fundraiser with a comedy film at Tivoli theatre December 2nd (Covid willing).

Quick update on some of our members: Owen Farmilo who recently took on a steer and came off second best, is still feeling the effects of this but hopes to be back soon. Sadly we farewell Rotarians Leo and Henry, both have recently resigned, they will be missed.
Katikati Rotary are having a garden ramble 6-7th November, it was noted that is the same weekend as one in Matamata however if you are interested you can contact Maz for the details.
Members Announcements...
Jane had asked for volunteers to help out with security and parking for upcoming garden tour November 6. But with only four out of the club offering their services she had to advise that we will not be involved now.
Peter V has arranged for some new high vis vests, saying thanks to Lynette with Mitre10's involvement. Logo to be printed. He then gave update on dog park. Due to the issues over where this should be, he asked whether we still wanted a designated off-lead park, and to indicate whether Peria road or Swap park was more preferable.
Sheryl advised that 'Guess Who's Coming to Dinner' will still happen but at a later date. Sadly no Spud in the Bucket for 2021 but should go ahead in 2022.
Fundraiser for Club now to be a raffle for Christmas, Sheryl has been arranging for goods for this; value currently around $2000. Tickets will sell for $5.
As it is nearly "Movember" the challenge has been issued for the entire club to grow themselves a moustache, or in the case of our female members to create one (preferably from recycled material) prizes for the best in each category.
David H asked whether we wanted to celebrate Melbourne Cup? Although fairly last minute he will arrange this, with an email later confirming details. If you want to be in sweepstake let him know pronto. Prizes for best dressed.
There was a shunt sheet going around for Rotary Christmas puddings. This year the profit will go to Inner Wheel as we can no longer help them fundraise via dessert evenings. Please pay for these online:
