Parting Thought
From Gary Lewis
"You can't go back and change the beginning, but you start where you are and change the ending." by C.S. Lewis
(no relation)
Robert Stuart advises the next coffee meeting is at Pepper Street Cafe 10.15 am Thursday 18th July.
President Wade announcing new Director Sue as she missed Changeover.

Tonight’s meeting was started off by super sub sergeant David H, he will cover for Nicole for couple more meetings to help her move into the role. As this was literally her first meeting since joining Rotary, it seems only fair! He introduced Glen, proud father of tonight's guest speaker.

President Presents...
President Wade thought quite seriously on what it means to be President... his main take on this was that the Supreme Court gave them immunity. We are not sure what he feels he may need this for, but David H quickly dispelled any notion that this would work here and promptly fined him!

Members Announcements
Peter V: Lincoln students visit. Our members are asked to billet them, this time is August 26/27. Shunt sheets have gone out but there are still many billets required. This is a great fundraiser for us, and it is generally very entertaining.
Michelle thanked David H for yet again his willingness and talents as Emcee, he did a stand up job at the recent District 9930 Changeover luncheon. Our Club had the honour of getting Highly Commended for Communication, we constantly update our Facebook page, so make sure you all check it out.
Job introduced his committee and warned us all they are the A team.. so watch out!
Alice and Jane have stepped in for Public Image Director Roisin (as she is currently overseas) to run this year's Cure Kids Red Nose day fundraiser... cupcakes, cupcakes, come and get your cupcakes....

Guest Speaker
Kevin Kent introduced tonight’s speaker Grace Dawson. As a teacher he was the perfect choice for this as she is a student at Matamata College.
In April this year Grace attended the week long Future Leaders Forum held in Rarotonga. In the Academy she mixed with other like minded individuals all looking to explore their leadership capabilities. There were many activities such as team building, cultural dance performances, learning about Rarotonga and its challenges, many swims in the clear blue waters, crafts and a beach clean-up. A particularly poignant ANZAC day, with representatives from NZ and Australian forces making it memorable. Grace thanked Rotary profusely for this life changing experience; she learned new skills, stepped out of her comfort zone and made amazing friends.

Graeme thanked Grace for her time and presentation. We give all our guest speakers a beautiful pen, and make a donation to End Polio on their behalf.

Note from the Editor:
