70th Rotary Club of Matamata President Michelle ,introduced to address club members by Sergeant Glenda. But after sergeant Glenda used her powers of rank, to bring a very happy bunch of members enjoying their fellow peers company to order. Michelle address started with, What is Rotary? Highlighted Rotary Fellowship with a video to enlighten members of this unique Rotary programme, which can facilitate Rotarians from all over the world with a common interest, so to share in that particular interest. Michelle pointed out the Rotary International web site, with links for more information. Now only the graphics to be applied to the Rotary Club of Matamata financially supported vehicle for Starfish. Also that if members are available for this Saturdays Starfish Open Day and Think Pink Event, their help on the day would be most appreciated. Michelle was pleased to announce honorary members of Rotary Club of Matamata: Jan Barnes, Lindsay Tisch, Alan Munro, Head Girl-Head Boy Matamata College, Lisette Hulme, Jo McNaughton and Charmaine Donaldson.
Lincoln students hosting billets all sorted.
Lincoln Students have now been allocated to hosting families. 42 students Sunday, 43 Tuesday.
Next meeting, I am sure all the pick up and drop off details will be confirmed so everyone is on the same page. Harry R and Peter V  as champions for organising this annual fund raiser, were well supported in this hosting project. Well done to everyone for great support.

           Don Stanley.. presenting his PRM
The Positive Rotary Moment has become a popular meeting agenda item , Previous PRM by fellow members and the latest PRM by Don S. are a privilege to hear. Don a Rotarian since 1969, honestly stated every year has had a PRM for him. Stand out moments for him  has to be Sept 11 Apple pie Night and the Swimathon. With that one,  Rotary Club of Matamata raised the most money of any Rotary Club in the world. But expects Concert By the lake to become a PRM aswell.

Quint your eyes!

look deeply at the strain clearly showing in the preparation prior to the quizz  start.
Quizz Wizz I think Leo!!!!!
It came down to a tie break question for his team, to win a very well organised quiz night.
Concert by the Lake team, putting in the 'hard yards',
prioritising all the issues that need resolution. It is 'tough at the top', such leadership will certainly result in another successful event.

Parting Thought.
Not many people are called upon to do great and noble things, let us all do things as if we do great and noble things.
