Sergeant Nicole was off running to a great start in her new role. Everyone was forthcoming in the fines session; with one member advising how on a cold day recently, visiting family opted to leave dogs in car for a short while. However, they excitedly jumped about and inadvertently locked themselves in the car... with the keys inside! AA was duly called, and when asked if anyone was in it was told there were dogs but they were perfectly fine waiting. Nek minute Fire Brigade in all their regalia turned up to the rescue... much to the neighbours delight!
President Presents...
Wade welcomed all to the meeting with Peter V introducing his friend and neighbour Steve Hughes.
Wade updated more on Regionalisation pilot program. Ideas wanted for a "Beautify our Community" project. The other Clubs will work on what's best for their own areas, this is a great way to involve our community, happening 19/20 October. Committees to have a brainstorm to get some ideas; whilst we are happy to work in with other service clubs or organisations, we run the risk of being under-promoted.
