Peter V advised at Peria Road dog park most of the lower boards have been put on, hoped these would be finished Friday morning 8am May 6th.
Lincoln students: 40 over two nights will be going ahead. 29/8  and 1/9 to be confirmed.
High Viz vests have arrived for everyone; these were donated by Lynette-Mitre10 and printing donated by Sheryl-Tainui Press.
MPDC will replace the stage deck at Railside Green, however the old one needs to be removed so we will have a working bee on Saturday May 14 instead of a meeting on May 17.

David H discussed Barry's 50th and mentioned partners are welcome, also please advise of any dietary concerns to Glenda.

Our 2021-22 Board of Directors

Welcome to Club night....

President Presents...

Robert welcomed everyone to our club night.
On screen were some photos from the Hobbiton Halfling Marathon where our club helped out on Saturday April 30. Eight members were asked to dress up as LOTR characters, David Wheadon with long hair was barely recognisable... Robert commented at least we know what David looked like as a teenager! Russell Alexander Hobbiton owner, thanked the Club for our assistance on what he hopes to become an annual event.

Our inaugural first meeting anniversary was a success at the Fire Station, and Robert thanked Brian again for organising this.

District Conference was to have been weekend May 20-22 but as this was cancelled DG Ross Pinkham has asked if all clubs could do a fundraiser that weekend instead. Tom Stephenson, Te Aroha Rotary suggested Matamata Rotary might like to join them in helping construct Hauraki cycle trail shelters. There was a good show of hands in agreement with this idea.

The Scene centre-fold spread organised by David and Leonie was a success, many thanks to David for the script.

Winter at the Green mid year festival is on Friday 17 June, Rotary will have a stall there, so ideas and volunteers needed. Maz has been asked to be MC for the entertainment planned on the by then renovated Rotary stage.

DGE Kevin Forgeson is looking for a champion from each area for the Diversity Inclusion District Committee.
