President Wade and his team for 2024/25
Corporal Leo led the evening in Nicole's absence.
Tonight was very special as the Club was presenting two cheques to two worthy organisations. From Barry's very generous bequest, Wade had the honour to present Jo McIntosh and Rewiti Vaimoso from Starfish with $20,000 to help them with the flooring costs for their multi-purpose gym room.
Then Brian Bonnar and David Lawson from Totara Springs were thrilled to receive $25,000 which will go towards their cabin project. Whilst their project is in the millions, every bit helps them reach their target.
Members Announcements
Jane advised the Lincoln students would be coming 25/26 August, she will send around a shunt sheet shortly. The usual 50 per night is expected.
Daffodil day is also coming up in August 29th, volunteers will be required.
