Rotarian Jane Belton, is our Programme Officer for this Rotary term.
Was our meeting programme for this meeting.Jane was also our quiz master, plus who organised the questions on general knowledge on our Matamata town.
Members have been allocated a Club Night team, for this term. So with aplomb and self appointed authority on being "right" unquote ! would only entertain challenges to her answers , in writing ;after the quiz !!
Jane certainly produced a fun quiz to participate in, presented with more than just a bit of thespian talent and own character portrayal from the lectern.
First - Skate Park
Second - Rotary Grove
Third - Stanley Lane
Fourth - Kauri Grove
Everybody was a winner tonight, for each of us got a chocolate fish or a Moro bar.

'Who Has Inspired Me'.. David Gasquoine.
In 1996 I attended as a Group Study Exchange participant, Rotary conference at Totara Springs. An ordinary looking type of guy Peter Gluckman , spoke on his field of Paediatrics and hormonal Biology. Since then, now Sir Peter Gluckman became an eminent man of science, has just retired as Chief Science Advisor to the Prime Minister of New Zealand. "An ordinary person can do extraordinary things'.
