  •  Matamata Rotary Christmas FOODBANK Appeal 2018
     Items can be brought to Rotary on Tuesday 27th of November and Tuesday 4th and 11th of December or left at Visioncare at any time.
    The FOODBANK  supports about 50 -55 families at this time of the year providing food for each family for approx. 1 week so if each of you could contribute a box of essentials from the list below that would be great.

    CASH- if you put your name and address on the envelop you put the cash or cheque in you will be sent a receipt which , because the FOODBANK is a registered  charity,  you can send to the IRD  at the end of the  financial year  for a rebate

  • Wade Linnell. Spud in the Bucket. 138 buckets sold. It is acknowledged by members involved with previous spud in the bucket's, that 138 buckets sold may now be a Club record. So hopefully, we have a good percentage presented at weigh in , Tuesday 5th March 2019.
  • Lions Matamata, celebrate their 60th year anniversary. Saturday December 8th, Matamata Civic Centre,11.30am to 4pm. $50 per person.
  • Rotary Matamata half year AGM. Tuesday 27th November.
  • MOVEMBER. Officially underway. Pre clean shaven photographs of participants taken, NOW   it is our opportunity to support our peerage members in any fund raising initiatives for Movember. Stop men dying. Grow or sponsor a 'tashe, host a small gathering and discuss
  • USED POSTAGE STAMPS:  In a past issue of Rotary Down Under there is a contact of a person in Melbourne who can sell used postage stamps.  If anyone has these, they can be passed to Eric Muckle or Kevin Sing. ‘Just leave stamps on envelope paper, leaving about 1cm margin around the edge.’ NZ stamps are in particular demand.
